Ball Valves

A Ball Valve is a quarter-turn valve that controls the flow of liquids or gases using a hollow, perforated, and pivoting ball. The ball rotates within the valve body to align its hole with the flow path for full flow, or perpendicular to stop the flow completely. In the open position, it offers minimal pressure drop; when closed, it provides a reliable and leak-tight seal.

Ball valves are valued for their robust sealing, minimal torque operation, and fast shut-off capabilities. They are available in manual, electric, pneumatic, or hydraulic actuation to suit various operational needs.

These valves are commonly used in industries such as oil and gas, chemical processing, water treatment, and HVAC systems for their durability, simplicity, and performance in high-pressure applications. Depending on the design, ball valves can be full-port or reduced-port, and may feature soft or metal seats for enhanced sealing and temperature resistance.
